Concerning the Maplestory VS Latale Threads.

I meant that if Maple is a piece a crap, latale is also another piece of crap.

Since theyre both on the same "goodness" level.


Tho, both are awesome.

Okay, we get it. You love Latale and anyone who says a bad word about it is insulting your child, mom and granny all at the same time. Love the game if ya want, but it's kinda stupid to post on a forum like this saying how good a game is and not expect at least 1 person to say it sucks. And it really doesn't do much for your credibility to keep coming back and flaming at everyone who doesn't agree with you. You could say the sky is blue and someone would still disagree. This could have been a credible thread, instead it just looks more like a Latale fanboi freaking out. If you gotta try THAT hard to defend a game, how good can it really be?

I agree 100%. A game I can simply mash one button for constantly isn't gonna be deep enough to hold my interest.
And it doesn't really matter if Maplestory and Latale are carbon copies or complete opposites. How many games get compared to WoW? It just happens that there's a VERY limited number of 2d MMOs, so when a new one comes out of course it's gonna be compared to the most popular 2d MMO out there. Personally I find em both boring. If you really need 2d pvp why not just play something like Grand Cross?

The grind in latale is just as bad as maple story.. I honestly enjoyed MS more then I enjoyed Latale but that was probably cause of lag and I couldn't read anything..

Well that's just it. People can't be happy with a game unless other people also like it. Is why so many of these threads always say something like "If you like the game please post!" or "If you don't like the game don't bother posting." And lets not forget that games that tend to have crazy high population also tend to be extremely child friendly. They're like lemmings, so ya gotta take the populations with a grain of salt.

Also, no one wants to play alone.

No game is better than any game, as long as X game has players, and Y game has players, none is better.

Unless, you wanna say, which game is getting more/got more/will get- money, that's what you should talk about

And Latale won't shape Maple Story, 1. Because most of those ppl never heard of OnRPG, and other forums lol

Latale CAN be compared to maplestory, as they both have 2D graphics. (which used to be unique until everyone and their mothers made 2D mmos)

IMO latale is sounding better than maplestory just from reading this thread... but i haven't heard that latale is either addicting or gives you something new to do when you get to like lvl 20 or something like that. But maplestory only has the party quest at lvl 20 and thats it. but i guess you can't expect that much from a f2p lol

so far what has made me laugh the most in this thread is this guy saying that he likes games where you dont just mash a few buttons and you can lvl up but also said he likes WoW?? Umm in WoW unless your pvp'ing as a caster it's pretty much just pressing a few buttons (combat wise not moving wise) so yeah...

Also so far latale looks a lot more interesting to me than maple ever did and im hoping it will live up to the hype.
