So i was wondering if anyone knew how to link to something in the same post.
Like if i typed out a hugeeee post and wanted to separate it using links to different spots on that post. I've seen it done, just need to know how...Ideas?

I would just use the common way:
Say you're writing a guide. Have a table of contents with a symbol next to each section. Then, have that same symbol next to the actual section, like this:
A. Introduction.
B. Skills.
C. Attributes.
A. Introduction.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Fusce augue neque, placerat nec, hendrerit ut, interdum sit amet, orci. Cras dignissim pretium ipsum. Nam tincidunt mauris at tortor. Pellentesque porta, felis quis laoreet blandit, nisi orci euismod tortor, a pretium ligula arcu in leo. Etiam luctus. Suspendisse eu arcu eget arcu pharetra luctus. Ut pretium. Donec eu urna sit amet nisl varius pellentesque. Praesent tempus ipsum a mauris. Morbi iaculis eleifend nunc. Pellentesque habitant morbi tristique senectus et netus et malesuada fames ac turpis egestas. Nam ornare turpis nec purus. Suspendisse lorem. Etiam laoreet iaculis dui. Etiam fringilla luctus augue.

Then, they can just use "ctrl+f" and search either "A.", "B.", or "C." to find the specific section.
Not sure how you'd separate it to different spots in the post, but you could always separate them with separate posts and link to each one in the first post. I'm sure you could ask a moderator beforehand, telling them you're going to organize it this way and they might let you.
That requires some slightly more advanced HTML tags related to linking.
Some forums may support it, some don't.
