now the thing is,what can you do in that 250 hours? PvE,thats for sure. and raids. and PvP will give you as much exp as killing mobs. and capturing outposts, keeps. and city sieges. and public quests. and racial quests. and capitol sieges. and king's attacks. and advancing in your Tome of knowledge.
all that will make you level and advance in your archetypes. that differs from my concept of grind
not only that, also Mythic speficically said that grinding more than others wont get you any signficant advantage.the best stuff in the game can be achieved by going to capitol sieges and slaying the king or finishing quests derived from the siege inside that capitol.or crafting.not by killing thousands of X mob for hours for a good drop, nor going to 6 hour long raids after a boss.
and finally, after the newbie area, you can go thru the whole game without killing not even 1 mob (out of a quest or not). the only thing you are missing is content, and thats up to you.
if with all that you still consider thats grind, drop the mmorpgs. no offence intended, just trying to be helpful. looks like nothing without pserver rates will ever satisfy you, and pservers are mostly crap anyway,in terms of communities content balance and bugs.
by my side,im quite sure im gonna cap several characters without even noticing i have grinded a single second of my playtime.
