'Twas an alright game, if you ask me... A bit grindy at many moments, though. Did enjoy the blood and physics engine they had, but other than that... Meh. I got bored.
Don't get me wrong--blood fountains are fun. Then again, how can watching something's head come off in a massive blood-geyser NOT be fun?
So, to sum that up...
-Grindy.
+Decent graphics
+Physics
+Blood and gore!
-Overused monsters
There is absolutely nothing to do after lvl 50... All the dungeons and instances for 50+ haven't been implemented yet and theres only the raidboss ruinhorn instance to do and thats only once or twice a week...
imo they released the game way too early, lots of improvements could have been added before making a full on release...
Got bored of it before even reaching level 10 to be honest.
It's just every other stock, cookie cutter, one button combat MMORPG but with the addition of blood. A novelty which wears off strikingly quickly.
The amount of people who spam the chat with that power level crap is what annoys me -_-
you know, people can create wonders if they want, but sadly there are people that rather chose not to, because investing time in a wonder would mean losing 200 dollars profit in the course of 5 days.
it's a sad fact that developpers rush everything for the bit scrap of money they can still obtain.
Blizzard, Bethesda and Bioware are somewhat the only companies left that care for value. (should anyone complain about the bugs in NWN2, Obsidian was the developper, not Bioware)
No idea why someone listed the graphics as a "con". They seem pretty decent to me. Better than most F2P games anyway.
No, you don't have to pay to get anywhere in the game. The premium services and the cash shop are just luxuries like most other games, it's not essential to progress in the game.
Premium users being the only ones to access the PK server is totally false.
The only cons for me, at the moment, are the bugs, infrequent updates and lack of patch notes. Lack of endgame content doesn't bother me at the moment since I'm still pretty low.
those bastards even dare call this crap the first "horror" mmorpg. Really? What's so horrific about it apart from some blood and gore? Seriously? Are you kidding?
Um I didn't like STNW.
