    Default Russia/Georgia

So who thinks WW3 is gonna start? Besides the fact that its stupid to defend Georgia for some oil, its also stupid that almost every politician knows that both the US and Russia were ready to slam their faces on the big red button during the 40 years that was the cold war.

    lol no

They are our allies. We can't just sit back and let them get stomped.

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure if we try to defend Georgia that Russia is gonna retaliate, and a war is gonna start.

Well, Russia is attacking Georgia because a few of their men were killed over there, but if we go over to defend the border, we're going to kill a lot more then a few men.

You're right, so I guess World War 3 is on its way.

This could go either way I suppose, USA is not going to butt in I can tell you that for sure, but if Russia is going to be ignorant other countries around the world will stop supporting them and that would get Russia into some trouble. I think this is more likely of a chance being resolved without another World War. Saying there's going to be a World War so soon is not right because it seems already that Russia is working on a truce with Georgia, although Russia isn't holding up to it, its being worked on so just have high hopes.

Xente what movie is that in your avatar with Christian bale?

Anyways, Russia didn't send in the tanks. They were lining them up incase something happened.

That's still a nerve racking site to see, and I'd feel threatened with tanks outside my homeland

    Probably 'American Psycho'.

Back to topic, I think diplomacy is gonna solve this problem. Russia doesn't intend to start anything bigger than a small fight.

Most of you people speak of "we" when you are talking about yourself, Well here in the Netherlands most of us think this way even in media, that is were my statement comes from. Also it's like I can't say anything about about the US government unless I'm a American. Sorry if this offended you "American " people but this is what I'm hearing constantly on the media and discuss on work. Also the stereotype that europe hates america isn't that false. No seriously we even got books about it. So sorry again.

Also for that kid that -repping me,
Did I said the Dutch government was good?
