hello, im kinda bored of the standard mmorpg's where u kill monsters and level up and thats it,
so i was looking for new kind of mmorpgs such as card games but i found that yugi oh and magic online the gathering were both p2p (tell me if im wrong)
and i tried the free servers of yugi but they had bad design
so is there any similar game which is completely free,i mean not to be free in playing but u have to buy cards with cash
Dunno if you can call Naruto-Arena a cardgame, but it's pretty much like one and quite popular. You'll find enemies 24/7. I'd give it a shot. Especially if you're a Naruto fan.
Magic the Gathering isn't p2p, it's b2p(10$) then f2p. The program is free to download, but you have to pay 9.99$ to activate an account, they give you a 9.99$ rebate coupon to spend in their online shop. And you can go a long way with that if you get some help. Or if you don't have a cred card but you have some cash, there's another option. That alternative is going to a card shop or game store (wherever they sell Magic cards) and look for the 'Core Game'(9th ed). You'll know it's the Core Game because it says it on the box (NOT 'Core Set') and it's the only one that comes with a cd. The 'Core Game' comes with:
• two 33-card decks,
• a 14-card pack with more advanced cards for expanded game play,
• a collectible premium card,
• two play guides to take you and your opponent through the game step by step,
• an easy-to-read rulebook for complete rules reference,
• two playmats with scorekeeping counters,
• a CD-ROM featuring exciting games that cover the key aspects of Magic play, plus the Magic Online program,
• and a credit for online versions of the cards included in the game. cite
One thing that didn't mention was that you can upload those cards to your MTGO account. The only drawback is you don't get a 9.99$ coupon because you are just receiving an activation. (This is the only way you can upload physical cards to MTGO)
It's a great deal at 15$, at least that's the average price I've seen it online (I've seen it as low as 10$) could be cheaper, could be more expensive at a store. I doubt it'd be less than 10$ though.
