Question about Americas Army

I was wondering if this game is still really serious like it was when it first came out? I've been looking for a real tactical shooter lately and thought I might try it, but from the videos I've seen, it looks like its turned into another Counter Strike. It doesn't look very tactic-based like I thought it would. People just seem to run and gun like every other game. So I'm hoping this games still serious.

I remember hearing that you would get banned from servers and such if you weren't obeying orders? Is this still true? I'm not gonna waste time downloading it if people don't take it very seriously.

no you still really need to lean and stuff, they made it so 2 shots can kill you, and you really have to aim, but i must tell anyone who needs a tactical game to go get ArmA, its like AA but the maps are like 5 miles by 5 miles, its like battlefield and AA mixed its very cool.

I guess ill still give Americas Army a try then.

Can I have a link to a site/video of the game you recommended?? Also, is it free?

no ArmA is not free but it is WELL worth the 20 or 30 bucks, you know on warrock when you get shot down in a helicopter it just blows up, in this one if you shoot the tail rotar or the main rotar it jams and falls to the ground its very realistic. you can fast rope down building sides, off helicopters.

and you have to try being a sniper, you REALLY need to get a bunch of friends together becasue you need to be organized.
