TF2 loading takes long

Connection speed has nothing to do with processor, graphic card or ram. Scan for spyware. Over a minute sounds reasonable to me.

I fixed it by adding some commands to the command line, it takes 20 seconds now which is ok to me.

It has nothing to do with your computer, it's just the server and your internet connection.

If you're connecting to a server running a map you don't have downloaded and using audio and visual files you don't have download that is hosted in China while you live in L.A. it's obviously going to take longer than a server running on files you already have hosted in L.A.

No, it already has everything downloaded (I know because I connected to that server earlier), the server is located in my country and my ping is ~20. It just shouldn't take so long, other games like COD4 take like 4 seconds to connect.
