It's all bull shit unless you do it a LOT. Like if you pirate every single game when it comes out, you're going to get caught. If you spread them around, you'll get caught. Etc.

If you try to download games on lime wire aren't there usually viruses there anyway, and when you do download a copy I doubt it will work.

With more and more artists jumping on the "download my music for free, I don't mind" bandwagon, perhaps they don't need to be.

I wonder if they will try to get the other billion of people that download stuff from the net through P2P programs... every once in awhile some news such as this comes out in order for people to "stop" downloading stuff illegally but I doubt that will happen... C'mon, some software is already available through p2p programs, rapidshare, mIRC, etc before it even comes out and when that happens they expect no one will download it?

I'm not defending "pirates" but this is a discussion that goes on and on and I will doubt it will ever end. One way is to make it available to everyone. Example: Imagine you live in India and your monthly income is 500$. you have a family to support, a house to pay and that a game or other software costs 65$. If that person might download it from the net do you think he/she will buy it for a price that is over 10% of the monthly income?
