One, is it possible for a motherboard to refuse an OS. My friend says he can't install anything other than Windows Vista on his computer, otherwise he gets the bsod.

Two, my cookies don't work anymore. I mean, they remember passwords and s/n's, but I still have to click login whenever I get on the site. (Like onrpg)

Motherboards don't care what OS is installed. You friend probably is installing it wrong, putting the wrong drivers on, or just doing something stupid.

Which browser do you use? Thats a crucial piece of info to help with your problem.
