Dave Matthews Band sax player dead.

LeRoi Moore, a founding member of the Dave Matthews Band, has died aged 46, his publicist has said.

The versatile saxophonist died after suffering complications from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in June on his Virginia farm.

Publicist Ambrosia Healy said he died on Tuesday at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, in Los Angeles.

A statement announcing the star's unexpected death on the band's website said: "We are deeply saddened".

Thats kinda what I was saying...personally, I was never a big fan of their music...I know some of their songs, but only what I've heard on the radio or from friends.

I mainly just posted this for fans of the band who know more about the guy than I do. Just passing along some info.

But yeah, sad nonetheless.

Eh. Personally, I believe the DMB fanbase is full of people who are trying too hard to be "deep" and "earthy"...Like the life style that "Life Is Good" store is selling...they want to be all relaxed and fun and cool, but in reality its just an image that is for sale...at $30 per t-shirt.

Its just kinda sad because that band has a bunch of fans who are going to feel bad about this. And of course the guys friends and family feel like shit...so, I figured I'd post this incase someone liked the band a lot.

I was just joking though, seriously when any artist or musician dies its truly a sad day. I remember when heath ledger died, I almost cried knowing Brad Pitt would be the most handsome guy in movies for a few more years...

Ive heard of the band but I cant recall any songs. Theyre like alternative rock right? Good genre.

Heath Ledger

I'm sure the Dave Mathews guy will be missed.
