    Default Replacing my RAM

    im going to replace my current ram with a couple of 1gb sticks of ram and was wondering what brand i should get...if possible keep it cheap as im going to be buying some other stuff as well. my mobo can only take 184-pin i think...

    Well, some good brands names are Corsair, Kingston, and Crucial, but if you're going for cheapest possible, then get some generic ram (not recommended).

    Fry's has some good priced Crucial DDR ram:
    2*1gb sticks
    1gb stick

    Is the other stuff you're buying for computer upgrades? If your motherboard only supports DDR ram, then the upgrades available may be limited to older hardware.

    Im pretty sure that motherboard only supports DDR400 and lower. Check: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...sktop%20Memory

    If you want to, you can get some no-name brands on eBay for cheap.
