    I wouldn't call MS money grubbing for this thing.
    What you and every other person doesn't understand is that you're basically paying the money for the exact same reason that MMO's are P2P.
    All of those games that you play online? They are hosted on MS owned and run servers. They need to pay for the servers, the electrical bill, the system admins, the network admins, the repair costs, the bandwidth costs, etc.

    We're talking probably a couple hundred thousand a year to run X-Box live for you guys.

    It's not a cheap thing.

    I am still a little confused how he payed for the X-Box after all.

    Isn't it "omfg EXPENSIVE!111", or did he trade it for homegrown vegetables?
