Connection Woes.
I've been having connection problems for the past two days.
The internet stays connected but the modem goes idle and no longer sends or receives, thus making all my applications disconnect.
I've tried ringing the ISP about it and so far I've been told "Nothing is wrong".
Any ideas, anyone?

that happened to me once so i tried switching the modem....then it didnt even work at all...then i switched back to the original modem and it worked perfect again

Try disconnecting it for a few minutes...it can't hurt. I remember mine was super confused once, I tried that out and it worked like a charm.
