    Default Everquest 2

Alright I have a question for all of you EQ2 players...

I'm sure the population is still pretty huge right? Well which PvP based servers are the most filled?

Also, is the entire game doing quests (like the quest where i had to gather mushrooms from 3 different places then give it for a ritual but one was tainted so I had to go and save the mage doing the ritual but it was too late so i had to kill the evil spirit that came out then it was all good) or is it grind based like most other ones?

    Thanks for any replies.

I play EQ2 quite alot still. There are a few PvP servers that are medium to heavy population depending on time of day.

And if there was ever an MMORPG that was not a grinder and totally quest based, EQ2 would be it. There are SO many quests to do, I mean, there are a ton. Especially if you get any of the expansions added in there also. Of course there IS some grinding, every MMO has it, but it's not bad at all, and you always have quests to do or crafting etc.

Yep. I think the first rule about EQ2 is that you do not grind. Don't. If you do grind for the sake of getting that next level you will have one weak ass toon.

You have to do as many quests possible, and kill as many rare spawns as you can find, and explore as many points of interest as you can. ESPECIALLY if you're on a pvp server. The *****s in EQ2 rack up as many achievement points as they possibly can for their level. They are really really really super freaking strong.

As a matter of fact I usually just turn off combat experience and level up with quests. It's almost as fast and you get more achievement experience that way.
