Reputation: 26K, I'm trying to delete a file called Fah core 82, it's some folding@home shit, I honestly don't know what it is. It won't let me delete it, it's not being used by ANY OTHER PROGRAMS/ANYTHING ELSE PERIOD. I gave myself full control, it still won't delete. How do I force delete something, like, make something delete no matter what the ****'s in the way.
screenshot plz or i cant tell.
Reputation: 27Folding@home is fine, it's a program that uses your computer to fold proteins. It helps fight cancer; I use it.
You should have a icon in your tray that has red, yellow, blue and purple atoms that's stuck in a clump. Right click that and choose pause work or quit. If it isn't there, look for a folding@home in your start menu or in your program files and run the program to get it up on the tray. Then quit it.
Reputation: 74I've got 89 processes, it goes from 7%-12%, lol.
About that folding@home thing, is it a program or something?
Start > Control Panel > Add & Remove Programs.
Also check that the program isn't actually running.
