Well lets see how this plays out since she pretty much fits the mold of Clinton's base of woman voters "Soccer Moms" if McCain uses her right she could sway them away from Obama.

I don't think he's playing out in terms of the female voters, I think now it's in terms who he thinks would be better. Which is basically him saying "hehe, i got this election on lockdown".

To people who really know politics, this is a great choice. She is reform-minded, making McCain better overall. But to everyone else, they are gonna go "omfg, a gurl as vice president! vote for him, now!"

I guess it makes since that he choose a female, there are two large areas the candidates need to focus on, woman voters and Evangelical people. It can be assumed that this will help McCain pull in a large amount of those undecided female voters and even some of Hillary's old. AND this will probably put him closer to the Republican base of Evangelical Christians who wanted someone pro life, which McCain isn't (he is both pro choice and pro life, depending if we are before or after a commercial)
Sucks IMO, will be much harder for the Democrats to win, we are going to get an even more stacked supreme court and more distance between us and other countries who allow stem cell, cloning and other next generation technological advances that will put countries on the top.
