What was the name of that anime again??? :S
Sooo....I've been thinking of this anime [movie?] that I watched a really long time ago on winamp. And guess what the real problem is: I can't remember the freakin name of it. I was hoping some of you could help me figure out the name of it from the very vague description I can give:
The beginning started with this guy [mr. x] in the desert and he meets up with this older guy[mr. y] and one of them gives the other water. They talk for a bit and are attacked by these desert goblin things that pop out of the ground. "Mr. x" is pierced with a spear and is killed, then Mr. Y ditches the body planting it with a bomb. All the goblins try to eat the body, but explode. Mr. X's hairband shoots out of the explosion and Mr. Y takes it and wears it for some sentimental reason.
Other random facts:
-There's a horse amulet thingy
-The story revolved around some mysterious island and a weird disease
-Mr. X was in love with this girl, who sees that Mr. Y is wearing the headband and starts helping him
-Mr. Y uses guns
-Something that has to do with mandrakes in a forest
-This lady tries to assassinate Mr. Y
-In the end the forest with the Madrakes is burned down
-The major antagonist gets his head cut off
-The major antagonist has special regeneration powers
**I realize it may be impossible to tell me the name of this anime based on my crappy memory and description, but I may as well try anyway. I'll try to post anything else I can remember**
