new computer, what to download.

getting a new computer tomorra, so im downloading a load of stuff so i can just hop onto it straight away.

its specs are

intel core 2 quad q6600 2.4ghz
3/4gb memory
nvidia geforce 9600 gs 768mb

so far all ive got is the crysis sp demo and my steam games (tf2 hl2 etc..)

anyone got any ideas?

and just so I know, Any opinions on those specs?

Mass Effect it was epic on 360 and its even better on PC same with GoW. You can pretty much play anything and you already have TF2 so for mutliplayer FPS you have a great one.

Because he bought a nice computer to play WoW... Anyway, nice build, although currently games aren't optimized to use 4 cores. On the other hand the time will come. Nice build either way. I would have gone for the 9600gt. Its better by a good amount and still cheap. As for games to run....

STALKER (Clear sky is coming out soon. Get that if you can. Its stand alone)
