Need urgent pc help wth

ok you might remeber me about the other thread I made well I have a even worser problem now.

Heres how it started. 1 day minding my own busness i was just playing a game all happy and stuff when out of nowere BAM pc freeze. so im like ok ill just restart WRONG whenever I get to the part that says windows xp is loading after that guese what Blue Screen of Death.

I kept getting it for about 50 tries then the next day I finaly get on so i start and everything look around the internet for a while then try to play mabi as soon as I start it it says are you sure u want to run the program you are low on memory.

WTH. I kno for a fact that I had over 9gigs of space left so I go to my pc and check to find out I have 133 mb left... so im like ok ill just unistall some stuff I do it and get 1gb of stuff then BAM pc restarts.

So i wait for it to start up and junk then when I check my computer again I have only....25.2mb??????? now there is somthing really wrong here so anyone kno what i can do to get my space back??

uhm... you HDD is probably failing.

EDIT:

i doubt this will help but you MAY have a virus and you can try to do a system restore back a month or two... if you can then back up some important files.

and now it seems to slowy lose more space 23.5 now without even downloading anything...

edit: o and My restore points magicaly dissapeared.

are you using a nivida graphics card?
sometimes when you update the drivers for it, BSOD sometimes shows up, but it can be fixed pretty easily.

the next time you get a BSOD, write down the letters/numbers on that one sentence.
that combination is usually the label for what error you have.

either that or your running low on RAM or graphic card memory. not HDD space.

I am using a nivida card but I dont remeber updating it and I could really see what the bsod said pc restarted to fast>_> o I also only have 256 or somthing like that of ram but its been doing pretty good until now....

Edit: avg scan just found a trojan horse 3 of them (svchost or somthing) aand this thing that says ( found registry key with reference to infected file C:\WINDOWS\drivers\scvhost.exe)
Edit again: think I should stop the scan and let it do whatever to those files I magicaly have 21mb left

if BSOD mentions anything about "nv*whateverfilename*.dll", then its an nvidia driver problem.

as for the trojans, post up more details.

well its not a nividia probly it didnt say anything like that and my small amount of ram is slowly disapearing I have no idea what to do. 12mb left now.

WHAT? How the hell do you lose RAM due to viruses? Sir, do you know what you're talking about? Seriously...do you? I think an OS takes more than 12 MB of RAM to run, and there's a difference between the space on your HDD and the amount of RAM you have.

i don't see how this thread is fail, he posted it in the tech section along with tech related problems.

unless by fail you mean his computer continuously getting BSOD, trojans and something eating up his ram.

and you do lose ram by viruses, if not through them. trojan downloaders, as an example, downloading large amounts of useless data, writing it on the HDD which uses RAM/CPU power,etc.

spice, if you're still having huge problems with your computer, i suggest posting your problems on a more tech savvy forum along with a Hijackthis log if you want to remove viruses completely. also your computer would probably shutdown due to low RAM.

also, open up Task Manager (CTRL ALT DEL), go to the processes tab and click on the Mem Usage tab. if there's anything suspicious, search it up on google, especially the ones that are using a large amount of memory. make sure your computers idle while you're doing this.

well i believe it just saying I have low space I was able to run a game with only 4mb so I guesse problem solved? + rep to all.
