You can get skilled if you play an FPS long enough. Though I'm hopelessly bad at them. Some Mmorpgs (very few) take actual skill to play, the same twitch movements that are required in FPS's are also required in those kinds of games. Mabinogi for instance.

Some people aren't "hopelessly bad", even if they may have less experience than you do.

MMORPG's are almost always dictated soley by time, while FPS's have that AND other elements.

I'd like to think I'm better at FPS games then RTS and MMO, as they don't require (usually) any macroing and rely on reaction time and precision.
