The poll that was posted on Aeria was most likely just the executives having feelers put out before finalizing the negotiations for the title. There is NO WAY IN HELL they approached Atlas a few days ago when the poll closed and said "here's some money, give us your license pl0x." Most likely they have been working on signing the title for a few months.

One thing, however, is sure:
It will take quite some time till the game's actually playable. And since they plan on translating the game in several languages, I doubt it will come out this year or the first/second quartal of next year.
