    Default Horror Fans rejoice

Well I am very huge fan of horror films especially cult classics. (dawn of the dead, last house on the left, evil dead etc.)

I am just interested in finding out what any of my fellow horror fans like.

Whats movies have you seen that just made you go WOW?

Recent of old horror movies, make a list of some of your favorites.

    ( I expect responses while I take a nice hot shower )

There's a new horror movie with the same trailer and the same tag lines coming out every other week. I stopped paying attention. Undead onry for me.

Quarantine looks good, I can't wait for that one. Zombie movies have been lacking lately though.

I still believe the Original Dawn of the dead was probably one of the best zombie films of all time.

28 days later, 28 weeks later, dawn of the dead (remake, haven't seen the original), Resident Evil 1 and 3 (2 sucked imo), Diary of the Dead /endofzombiemovies

For horror, like you watch it and get goosebumps.. The Ring, The Grudge (Japanese versions are awesome), One missed call (japanese), The eye (american and japenese), Shutter (thai), The Shining and anything else from Stephen King.. I've seen some more Japanese ones that were really creepy, but I can't remember their names.

    Udder?

I used to like horror movies, but everything in the past 10 years has sucked so horribly. The only reason why I watch a horror movie now is for a cheap laugh or two.

I think you saw evil dead 2 which is the one with the same character but he has a chainsaw arm and fights some army of darkness. Evil dead is classic for any TRUE horror fan.

today at my current age I still want to see the full dead crewmen video shame they didn't release it
Yeah I remember seeing event horizon it was a fairly decent film. The only films that REALLY made a huge impact on me when I was young was "It" and "scream" oddly enough.. It straight out traumatized me for 2 weeks and I still hate clowns because of that movie and scream was just that creepy mask. For HOLY SHIT factor Last house on the left took it that movie is pure cruelty .

yeah, altho "gory, massacre, mutilations" movies never managed to scared me , the movies that DO manage to take a jump out of me are the ones that have that "what the ****" feeling that you can't even perceive or see at all in the movie itself until the very end when everything unwraps in some "flashy" and intermitent way, and you just stay there saying "wtf?...."

that's why movies like Jason, Chucky, Dawn of the dead, IT and so on from the old school actually made me lol same with movies like Saw series or the english remakes of most Japanese horrors (the japanese ones actually kind of chills me sometimes I tell you, those people are sick bastards when it comes to horror indeed )

edit: btw, it's that last house on the left the one movie the simpsons made a parody of in one of their Halloweens specials ? I say this because it's like the house makes everyone bloodlust and crazy for killing everybody
