It is one thing to see a game picture and another to sit for a few hours and either watch or play the game. it makes even more sense to play the game yourself, and then critic later. So yes, you have every right to be angry at this guy. :P

But even then, I'd still have little value of their opinion if they just 'watched someone else play it.'
I watched my good friend playing Planescape: Torment a few years back, and I was just like "Meh. Not my thing."
But then I sat down and played it, and I got totally sucked in. It was so much more fun than what him playing it looked like.
It's just a thing you have to play for yourself in any case.
