Default is there a game like this?

im looking for a game (willing to pay for it, but free would be preferred) in a midieval times setting, where you start off with nothing and have to work for everything you own. like youd maybe get an axe or something, and cut down trees to make logs to build a tiny little house. then plant a vegetable garden for food or go fishing. something like Harvest Moon, only more expansive and online.

please dont reccomend runescape. that game gets very boring after your levels get high, and i want a game where when i do something, it actually MEANS something. if i go out and catch a fish, i want it to mean that i can eat a meal, not sell it for 2 gold.

    basically, i want a Peasant/Pilgrim simulator :-)

    any such games?

I recommend it however, one of the best games online if you can get the hang of it.
That and if you can put up with the rock/paper/scissors style combat. That alone killed it for me, ugh.

The mods should seriously just close down the Free MMORPG Request section.

Most hardcore survival sim I have ever played. (It almost sounded like you were using it as an example to describe what you were looking for, scary.)

Ultima online you start off with nothin but that makes it slow in the beginning. You can have plants and in game housing.

If you think it's all about r/p/s then you haven't played past the beginner quests and haven't done any inter dungeons.

Just can't get into it whatsoever.
Understandable. It gets pretty frustrating to die in this game. I had a mentor early on after joining a guild that showed me all the basic/adv moves and how to successfully do them. I guess I consider myself lucky? ^_~ It's painful to start out new, especially if you did not disable Nagle which basically makes it so that you can not react to monsters immediately after attacking.
