Blah, i'm on Bismarck because my real life friend used to play there. I am still trying to ding a job to 75, right now i'm in a really nice japanese linkshell (they are going to help me with G2 tomorrow) but sometimes it's a bit of a drag because most of Bismarck is 75. It's pretty much an empty server in the lowbie parts (except for Valkurm Dunes, which has gotten exceptionally better). With level sync, things are somewhat easier... but since I don't have another linkshell for leveling and such, I hardly ever get parties that aren't random people I know.

Actually, it is one of the top P2P MMORPGs. It's not totally huge compared to WoW, but across its 32 servers, there's usually about 50,000~70,000 people online?

It's not bad, but they should probably merge some of the servers together.
It's certainly not on the verge of shutting down.

Well, FFXI is VERY POPULAR in japan, but beside japan and usa and europe. I guess you can call it not worldwide...

I was just saying that I wouldn't transfer to Sylph to play with OnRPG players that aren't even active.

But, y'know, if I spent $25 to play with a certain group of people, I would want them to be online... at least, occasionally.
