FFXI (No FFXI section so I'll post it here)

Ok so I know this game isn't free, but there is no FFXI section so deal with it.

I'm gonna start playing FFXI again. I haven't played it since July 2006 so its been a while lol. Back then I don't think you could pick your server on char creation so I'll see what server my guy is on.

I might just completely make a new character if enough of you guys play on a different server than me, or get the $25 for a server change. So let me know what server you guys play on.

I don't really wanna start over since I had the dragoon, samurai, etc.

I just want some people to play with.

it is 'hidden' because unlike the other forums you cannot see it on the main page, you have to go through several sub headings to get to it. Because of this most people will not find it so even if you do know where it is it is 'useless' to post in it because NOONE looks at it. I mean my god why is FFXI bundeled along with the likes of 'Rappelz online' that is just pathetic. Obviosuly the mods have something against FFXI.

Sylph doesn't seem too bad, but the "OnRPG community" that supposedly exists on there is pretty much nonexistent; even Cingal doesn't seem that active.

Now I'm playing with a few old friends on Pandemonium and I'm about to join an HNMLS. (edit: end-game clan-ish sort of thing) /satisfied

I was just saying that I wouldn't transfer to Sylph to play with OnRPG players that aren't even active.
Not criticizing you for having better things to do; I respect that.
But, y'know, if I spent $25 to play with a certain group of people, I would want them to be online... at least, occasionally.

Oh my God, why take out the buy to play and free to play games? They are MMO's too. Besides, player statistics > player ratings. Now go make bullshit excuses elsewhere.

Actually, it is one of the top P2P MMORPGs. It's not totally huge compared to WoW, but across its 32 servers, there's usually about 50,000~70,000 people online?

It's not bad, but they should probably merge some of the servers together.
It's certainly not on the verge of shutting down.
