ehhh dude for that price, naw.

I made my computer for 300-400 bucks, and that ones just a little better.

Dude Intel duo processor? for 6k? Please, biggest scam since WWII.

    edit:
    What I meant to say wasn't that clear;
Yes, it's good. Actually, It's really good. It's really sexy too, but for 6k? Not worth it man. but if you have the cash and aren't willing to look around for better deals, go ahead.

    Core 2 Extreme.
    Quad.
    Lol.

I think there I might build a comp from fry's,
But I might get even more hefty with the price with all the fancy stuff they have there.

If you bought all those parts separately and build it yourself, you would probably shave off more than half that price.

Well I'm going to swing by Fry's tomorrow and see what I can build better there.
If I pay them 200 dollars they will let me build it there and pay for it.

    So we will see,
I just need to get a new computer,
I've been having to upgrade my computer which is a 2002, and I'm getting sick of it.
I just need something new to run all the new fancy games. D:

    Phantom..

It's got a quad-core based at 3.0ghz, thus it means it can run faster than whatever dual core you have. If you can run yours at 4.5ghz, which I doubt you're doing, he could run this over 5.0ghz. Quad-cores are insane at overclocking. It also has 3GB graphics memory since it has 3x1GB. That's 11GB total memory, not to mention that the RAM and GPUs are highly overclockable as well.

It's great, but overpriced. Build your own, should save a lot of money.

Edit: Hmm, let me break it apart-

    - Video cards : $1600
    - RAM: $150
    - Motherboard: $250 (What a terrible motherboard for such an expensive computer)
    - Processor: $1000 (For the best of this kind)
    - Hard drives: $300
    - Case: $150
    - Power supply: $300 (Possibly cheaper, this would be a good one though)
    - Operating system: $300 (One is about $200, others are around $500, just took an approximate depending on what you want)

    That comes to around $4050.

Get rid of all that extra peripheral crap and I doubt that PC would have a $2000 decrease in price. Heck, throw in full set of Razer supplies and bump it up a couple hundred, since you probably want a sound card, nice headphones, nice speakers, great mouse, and a kickass mouse-pad as well.

Shit man, you could buy a car for that price.

"Triple NVIDIA GTX 280 1GB PCI-E x16 Video Graphics Cards in SLI Configuration"
THIS, is why it costs so ****ing much.

    $1600.

Add the 100% bonus for Tiger Direct.. then you've found why it's so expensive.

If I had a way of showing it to you, I would. Either way, yeah man, I know what your saying, I saw "Intel Core 2" or some shit and for some reason, my sleepy mind figured "Intel Core Duo".

I doubt it comes anywhere near to being a competition here.

@OP: If you have the money to blast, go for it.
I mean the general config, not the prebuilt.

Six grand, and it comes with a shitty keyboard/mouse, shitty speakers, no monitor, and no sound card. Fail.
