no no, I'm not arguing about if it is real or not, heck If you take a look at my tastes and compared it to the people I study/work with you can possibly say I'm not "normal" compared to then, "a doctor that plays videogames? that's what I said the 40 year old reference was from the other poster, I said 25 and 30 at most for the old guys, somewhere in between but not as young as 20, certainly not as old as 40, by 40 you could be much much more higher rank

Who said he was arming bombs? For all you know, he was in the chair-force. But that aside, obtaining sergeant, especially in active duty does not take 20 years. You can get sergeant by your early to mid 20s if you join soon after high school. I'm a "retired" military man here, and I play MMOs. Back then, I was big fan of 3DO games and we had a couple machines at the base. We in the military are just normal people that were compelled to join at the time, it doesn't make us any different.
