Talk to your mom, if she gets all pissy like "OMG U DONT NEED ME ANYMORE SO GTFO" tell her that she's overreacting, tell her that a 14 year old like you NEEDS to be able to hang out with friends REGULARLY, not just once every 2 months. Tell her the world isn't full of gangsters, murderers, rapists, etc around every cornor, that people can actually be nice. Ask about what she did when she was a kid, if her parents were as strict as she is, or if they let her go out with friends. If there was something in her life thats causing her to be like this, talk to her about that, you need to understand her and she needs to understand you so you can continue to live happily.
And no, don't talk to her with a demanding tone, don't make threats, don't curse her out, don't yell, just tell her calmly that you need a -little- more freedom, and continue talking with a calm tone. You don't need to yell or anything.
Same with your dad.
If they ground you or whatever, just hope they think things over. It may seem bad right then and there, but in the long run hopefully it works out.
