;o I hate choosing alignments, I dun like being held down by "The Man." When I first played D&D my brother asked me "What alignment do you choose to be?" >:/ I'm all "Dewd I don't feel like having my vastly quixotic character's activities typified by one or two words." ;/ So he puts down Neutral, what an ass. I mean usually if it's a video game and it offers the choice, if there's a difference I usually play through most of them for heck of it (of course that's only if I had fun the first time around.) ;D

In Star Wars KOTOR I go Sith because they kick much more ass.

Pffft :P I know but in games, what do you prefer being... :P the good, the bad or the boring neutral (or in some games someone who randomly helps a child from a mugging then stabs it for no reason), or just like me in Arcanum... do every quest in the town THEN MURDER EVERYONE FOR THE EXP!

Class? Sorcerer/Bard? xD

Chaotic neutral or just true neutral and move from there on.
Class usually rogue (dagger combat rogues, even better if it can dual wield), race usually either halflings or humans.

Lawful neutral, probably a bard/enchanter or buffer of sorts (but not the straight out healing guys)

If I found someone in dire straits such as that and I was really rich, I would help them out. Not saying I'd help random strangers with that shit, but if it was family or friend or something, of course. Don't care if you believe me or not, I just believe I'm a good-spirited person most the time.
