    Well the first game was the hardest to level. If I were you, and you don't wanna go through hard quests, and wanna be a loner and walk around with Henchmen, get Factions, its Quest EXP is like 1,000 per quest.
    GW was my first MMO, and I know quite abit about it, if you wanna know more PM me, but I can say this, its got a straight line story line. Where almost every quest or mission revolves around trying to get to the ending. Its PVP is fun, its a team of 3-8 I believe and each expansion has a different arena. Factions has two different Factions in which you choose to join one, and you get faction points, in the first one its a normal arena.
    The maps are huge, the voices and voice acting are quite well for an Online game.
    I'd give it a 9.5/10 if I could.

    Thanks for the information guys. The first one is called Prophecies right? Do I have to get the original to play the others? Factions sounds cool, but I like being in a party. I heard that in the first one when you start out you have to be in a party or something since there are level specific zones? I'm not sure, my memory is very vague. If it only takes a short amount of time before I hit the cap, I'm not sure I like that because PvP can get repetitive if there isn't World PVP or such.

    Yes, the first one is Prophecies.

    How it works is;
    Prophecies/Factions/Nightfall = Standalone. They can be played by themselves or with each other.
    Eye Of The North = Expansion. You need at least ONE of the above to play it. It's level 20 content.

    You do have to be in a party for all of the game pretty much, at least if you're not farming. Nice part is it can be the better henchmen, or you can pick up some ******ed PUGs. Zones are kinda level specific, like the mobs in Ascalon are 3-10, Northern Shiverpeaks is like 11-16, etc. It doesn't matter much when you hit 20.

    And the entire game, except towns, is instanced. No World PvP at all.

    i prefer u get nightfall first cuz its the most active/popular one around,so if everything goes well then head for factions,cuz it got some important thingys like AB(alliance battles)+some good skills which are important later on in the game,so after that get the platinum edition once and for all to get all the game sets and to live happily :3
    P.S:there is lots of Guild Wars new comers these days,dont u think?
