    Windslayer.

Much better than Maple Story and Ghost Online IMO because it's more pvp oriented.

    www.windslayer.net

    That should be the link.

Your best bets would be Windslayer, Ghost Online, and La Tale just like everyone has said.

Ghost Online is fun for a long while, and the new grasp on PvP for 2d sidescrollers was freaking awesome and kept me playing for hours at a time.

I love La Tale for the story and the way the gameplay focuses more around the player.

Windslayer....I'm too high to remember right now lol

Maybe try Tenvi, but its not released in English version. Theres only Korean and Japanese version, and I suggest JP version as its easier to register and such
You get your 'hero suit' when making character, those are Robot, Ultraman and Dragon.

Here is an English Community (Singapore/Malaysian players playing Tenvi JP)

So yesterday i tryed LaTale. I liked it but i couldn't use my gamepad on it even with JoyToKey or Xpadder. So i uninstalled it.

Then i tryed to intall Ghost Online from this site http://ghost.netgame.com/ but the game was Korean () and i was getting an error message when trying to launch it. So i installed this version of the game http://go.gameflier.com.my/default.htm (MY one). But the launcher kept telling me that my username/password were wrong... (and they weren't >_>). So i uninstalled it.

Now i ve just installed WindSlayer. I played it a little and i m not very fond of it. There are very few people. And the character customization isn't good at all. So i might uninstall it too.

Tenvi looks good but i won't understand anything if it's in Japanese. So i won't like it.

I didn't installed Maple Story because i already played it quite a long time ago. But according to the fact that all others games are either not working/not in English or not very good i may have to play it

Finally i ve registered on the NEN website to test Tenvi. I installed it without any prob. An i m currently playing it... And WOW! This game is damn good! Nothing to compare to all others maple-like games. I can't wait until the English version comes out. Quest are simple enough to be done even if you don't understand what they say for the moment. I hope it ll continue like this. Anyway this is the best 2D ActionRPG i ve played so far

Stay with Maple Story, leaving it and trying other sidescrolling games would only disappoint u

If you want to play foreign, Tenvi is a great one.
