    Question Can anyone suggest me...

    Hello everyone,

My name is Hiyoko and I just joined this forum. I'm 27 years old and I'm a translator.

I joined this forum because I'm currently looking for some suggestions. For a long time (end of the 2005 until 2008) I played faithful Maple Story and I was really devoted to the game and my characters. But, as time passed, the good people I used to know quit, hackers started to take over, Nexon started to screw it all up and, in the end, I found myself having more of a bad time than of a good time trying to play there. So, with a lot of sadness in my heart, I decided to quit the game forever, even if it meant to leave my dear characters and my guild.

Since then, I've tried other games, but I haven't been able to find a single free game that would make me have as much fun as Maple did. And since I don't know much about games, I kinda get lost in the huge lists of games available... I've tried Flyff, Legend of Ares, Scions of Fate, Dofus Online, Angels Online, Trickster and many, many others but, frankly, I'm sick of downloading, installing and trying games just to find out that none of them make me completely happy.

So, I thought maybe I'd join a community with people who could perhaps suggest some game that would be similar to Maple Story. I'm mainly looking for a free game, without a lot of hackers taking over the world, hopefully 2D like Maple Story (sidescrolling...?), with a nice community, hopefully with party quests and interesting character classes... Mainly that. I want to find a game where I can actually have fun instead of just logging in to go and fight over a channel or get ks'ed or get defamed just for being training without hacking or stuff... A game where, hopefully, the GMs will do their work properly and won't ban unfairly and where they'll keep the stupid hackers away... I don't know. A game where I can make friends and have fun, train, take on bosses and stuff, but relaxedly, not having to defend yourself and deal with brainless brats all the time. I really don't know if there's such a game available out there but... If there is or if there's something similar, I'd really appreciate the suggestions.

So, I'll be looking forward for your replies, people. Thank you, in advance, to whoever suggests me some game to try. ^^

    Best regards~

You can try Latale which is a 2d side scrolling game. I have yet to see a hacker, but i also have yet to see a GM.

heres a few suggestions for side scrolling mmo's... Grand chase, Latale (weaker version of maplestory i think), ghost online, these are all decent side scrolling mmo's grand chase is something different and fun... but can get redundant after a while... but thats how it is with just about all the games i guess..

personaly, if I could translate JP, I'de play Arad Senki (JP Dungeon and Fighter). Every one says it's an awsome game, and you don't need a KSSN to play the JP virsion. There's a ton of guides for quests and such in the foreign games section. It's alot like Pi Story gameplay wise, only 100000000000000 times better.

If you try it and don't want your account, PLZ PM ME! i've realy been wanting to try it for a while now.

EDIT: I'm not sure about the hacker status, but you'l never fin a good game that doesn't have them. With all good comes evil. yen and yang.

First of all, why would they use a Korean Social Security Number on the Japanese version?
