I've downloaded some shit from YouTube to watch on my VLC player, but I can't skip around in the video. When I try to skip around, it minimizes VLC and stops playing.
GAH that is annoying. Any insight as to why? Do ALL .flv's do that? I could just convert them, but it will be a pain in the ass. Thanks!
I think it is a bug in VLC that causes this. Have you made sure that yours is up to date, just to be sure? If not, update and try again. You can also try to change the 'output module' in vlc options, that could do it.... but I haven't tried that.
If I was you though, I'd just download an flv player. I don't use one, but I found this:
