    Angry Career Trouble

Hey guys, i have a little situation here. I don't know what to do with my life. Im going to nursing school with my sister, who knows like all the ropes & tricks, and she knows what classes i need to take, which is a huge advantage. But on the other hand im not a fast pace person. Im rather a laid back type of person, and people are always talking about how fast pace and difficult the nursing field is. Im also considering teaching, sure it doesn't pay as much as nursing, but it seems to a much slower pace type of career.

If you guys can help me list some PROS & Cons for both NURSING and for TEACHING, much is aprreciated thanks!

Please don't give me a lecture about pick a job that enjoy doing. Because the thing is i never tried neither one of these jobs thats why i don't know if i like them or not.

All i know is money is an incentive for me & so is a job that's laid back. Don't you guys ever wish you can just get paid to surf the net? In High school my computer concept teacher never taught us shit, and he spent his whole day surfing the net. Theres the problem nursing make more overall, but they have to work their butts off. Judge me all you want, call me "lazy" , "slacker", w/e. the fact of the matter is i don't want to get overwhelm, to me consistency is the key.

Besides the PROS and CONS of each Career, which one do you guys prefer?

    Nurse?

    or

    Teacher?

    *EDIT, some additional info*
I research these 2 career rigorously for hours. I won't be picking my career base on what people said, but i want people's opinion on this so that i would have something to think about. Basicly i want some personal insight, maybe one of your family member was a nurse or teacher, if so reply here and tell me about their stories.

    Nursing wins hands-down.

They get paid more (They do a tonne of work though, I have a couple friends in the nursing program) and they don't have to work with stupid, smelly, children (as much). Teachers do get significantly longer vacations though.

I'm taking the medical laboratory tech route, it's doing all the bloodwork (bloodbank, TBC's, biochemistry, etc), culturing (Seeing if people have a certain disease and what antibiotic kills it [Kinda scary seeing certain strains of strep resistant to all but 2 antibiotics out of a 30 antibiotic test]), and jobs like that which allow the nurses / doctors to do their job.

Teachers get treated like shit and not too good a pay unless its a private school, I would never be one. Remember back to your time in school and how some kids treated the teachers and you will just cut out that option lol, not like the pay would be nice enough to make up for it
