It's not like with his death the game turned back into the way it was, and no one gained anything, a guy just died. So how does that justify that as a victory. SWG will still be NGE unless SOE decides to change it back.
To put this in a different perspective, lets say an evil overload takes over the world, and send/turns it into absolute hell. He then kills himself out of cowardice, yet the world is still in a absolute state of hell. So, in the end some guy died, but were are still in hell. Someone died, but nothing was gained, nothing really change, the world wasn't really influenced in any good way. In the end were are still f'ed over, therefore no victory.
A guy just died, it's not a victory, but a lost. Who cares if the mmo had more value then his life or not. Nothing was gained out of this, nothing won, nothing happened. A man ended his life causing grief to so many people around him. So this would be more of a loss then a victory. Yes he did piss off a shitload of gamers, but it's a game. He caused great pain to family and friends. He hurt people in the end so no matter how you look at it, it's a lost. Nothing good came out of it, just pain and grief which out weighs the fact he f'ed up SWG. Saying this is a victory, a man ending his life is a victory, is like spitting in the face of all of the people who actually knew and cared for him. Your in a sense saying "Yea this guy screwed up a video game I play, it makes me happy that he died, I don't care if you feel sad about it." I honestly view nothing positive out of this.
