His version is not bad. But damn, Daft Punk owns him all the way.

oh, and I haven't heard either of them, and don't really care. Not my kind of music. I reserve my wrath for true blasphemy like Cupid's Chokehold, which took a sample from an awesome Supertramp song and tossed it amongst a load of generic rap shit.
I personally like Kanye's more, even though I'm a huge fan of Daft Punk. I don't like how the pitch of Daft Punk's contribution to Stronger was played around with though, it doesn't sound right to me.
HBFS isn't my favorite song by Daft Punk though. There's a tie in that regard between 'One More Time' and 'Something About Us'.
Aerodynamic ftw. Sweetest fake guitar riff ever
But the track that I really love from Daft Punk is "The Prime Time of Your Life/The Brainwasher/Rollin' & Scratchin'/Alive" off of the Alive 2007 album.
This is a shitty recording of it, but best I could find online

The album itself was properly recorded

My personal favorite from that album had to be:

It starts off slow with vocals and builds up, but it's not something with tons of bass like the above one, but I'm still drawn to it.
I will never forgive my former employer for refusing to let me have a few days off to go to Coachella in '06, I was sooo looking forward to their performance.
Instead, I spent the slow night slacking off while listening to Musique. I was pissed.
EDIT: Now I want to watch Interstella 5555 again.![]()
I like Daft Punk's version more.
Reputation: 125Daft Punk made that song awesome. I do believe Kanye's version has Daft Punk's version sampled.
