Runes of Magic going into CBII on October 9th + OB in December 9th!

Hear Yee Hear Yee! The OPEN BETA is coming!

The success we have already had, with over 95,000 registered players paves the way to the open beta.
This is reason enough for us, to start the second phase of the closed beta, (CBII) on October 9th, 2008!
In the course of the following phases we will allow a further 30,000 players into the world of Taborea!

On Tuesday, Dec 9th, 2008 we're going to really get things going!
The magical seal to the gates of Runes of Magic will be broken, opening the path to the open beta!
Storm Taborea together with many of the other 100,000 registered players, and dive into the adventure!

If there's one thing I hate it's liars. They said ages ago that they would let everyone in before Open Beta. Now they are looking at a max of just over 30k? Sigh that's only a small fraction of the registered accounts.

The gameplay is bad...and the game doesn't completely work on my system though...
The graphics on the other hand are very good, but it's not that much like WoW...
And most things are in Chinese still which is annoying...
When I started playing I could immediately say that this is not what I thought it would be, it seems to be another disappointment I guess...

That's impossible, they send CB invites in announced waves. They wouldn't just randomly send a CB invite without it being announced on the website.

It was just worse for me because the graphics for me had to be put on very very low.
If you have an awesome computer and you like WoW, then this might just be an awesome F2P game for you.
There's a lot of quests and the characters looks pretty cool.
Though the character creation is not so advanced yet.
Most mobs, quests and items are still in Chinese, but if I get a better PC then I will defenitely play this game again in Open Beta, ofcourse I will continue playing Closed Beta too, I got a Level 5 Knight for now...

sounds fishy to me since people actually receive a completely different email confirmation, but heh, if that really did happen to you then it shows how much of a shitty company they are handing invitations to people who just barely registered

Yes we are not allowed to reveal any information about the gameplay, these are for Videos and Screenshots showing how the game looks like. We're not allowed to do this, videos will be deleted and I will be kicked out of CBT. This does not count for E-mails, these don't reveal anything of the game.

i got the same email. sadly i dont feel like getting wiped after beta. i thought the game was made by germans..... why did u say its in chinese? if there is a chinese version of the game wouldnt everyone already know the game play -.-

Why I told some things are in Chinese? Well I am allowed to...I am allowed to make a preview for it if I want to. These things are not against the rules. Chinese will be completely translated to English and maybe German by the time OBT opens. And if I lose my spot in Closed Beta for saying this because this is not allowed, so be it...
