Game Design as a major?

there was an article in a newspaper saying that only 3 unis in uk do a game design course thats worth considering other then that it would be better to do something else had some quotes from head of sony etc

Transfer dude don't go to ****ing devry. Go to a quality art school or university. Do some research.

Savannah College of Art and Design has a very good game development program, I'm applying there for the 3d animation program
