I heard on the news today that there was a Tsunami in Indonesia this morning. The reporter said it was 6 foot tall, but not as bad as last Decembers Tsunami.
Twice in two years doesn't seem that odd though. This was a localized tsunami, not an ocean-wide one like the December tsunami.
"There are an average of two tsunamis each year that cause damage somewhere in the world. About every 15 years, a destructive, Pacific-wide tsunami occurs, according to the U.S. government's West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center. "
