well I was recently playing around with the thoughts of what I'd do if I owned my own MMORPG. While on the topic of CashShops, I thought about those annoying gold seller spammers and how I'd deal with them. Then I combined the two and came up with this.
What if, instead of a generic Item Mall, you allow people the ability to sell the gold they made ingame, with your company taking a 10-20% of what that user made, in return they wouldnt be banned for gold botting and they'd be given a few IM points to accumulate and spend.
That way, lazy, rich people would be happy because they'd get their gold, the gold sellers would be happy because they could sell their gold in peace with no concern of bans, players would be happy because the gold spammers would have quieted down a bit in order to sidestep the ban, and the company itself will be happy because they're still making a profit from their pixels.
I'd personally use this concept, how bout chu?![]()
