Something wrong with my PC.

So recently my PC started acting weird. It starts up very very slow, takes like 2 minutes before it was about ~30 seconds. Everything runs slower than usual for example if I run Photoshop and Winamp the sound sometimes gets choppy and PS blanks out for a few seconds. I noticed the processor usage went up a lot,here's a screenie:



I'm running:

AMD Athlon 6000+ (2 CPUs @ 3.0Ghz)
Radeon 2600 PRO 512 MB
1 GB Ram.


Any idea on what may be the cause? It really makes me wanna smash my PC with a baseball bat >..>

change the tab on your task manager, I wanna see the processes and what is using up the most CPU.

Appearantly Firefox I don't think it used so much before >..> Also Before my computer ran so slow PS used a whole lotta more memory o_o Like ~400 000.

did u recently install/uninstall anything that u think might have triggered this?
e.g. drivers,windows updates/programs etc

Thanks that sure is useful but it won't solve my problem as my PC still runs slower than always. And even with Firefox closed it stills slows down with PS and Winamp etc...same goes for start up.

It uses 25-40% of CPU even when I only watcha godamn movie online ;/

Now,for some good virus/malware scanners..

Malwares bytes anti malware
NOD32 trial or full version, AVG free or full version, if you can't afford, and you know how to pirate stuff, do it.

Also, I noticed that if I download stuff from certain sites, my computer gets choppy.

did you actually run a virus scan with the anti virus?

Too late now but just wondering :P

Next time, get an anti virus as soon as you can.
