    What's a program thats similiar to Garage band/ Guitar pro but for Windows XP?

    Ooops I shoulda stated.

    No fruity loops.
    I need one thing that can make a good 3-5 minute song. Not just constantly looping to make it seem like techno/trance.

    You don't have to loop with FL, you can use a USB keyboard to play songs, or use your PC keyboard to play songs.
    You could try Sony Acid Pro.
