I need the English word for....
...a student in the last grade. What are they called?
I looked for it in dictionaries but couldn't find anything. My English teacher didn't know either, so I said that I'll look for it on teh enterwebz. Nothing found, yet.

what do you mean by "last" grade? as in the person who is highest grade level in his/her school? or someone who is on the last in the ranking list?
Senior is probably your answer. Senior can be used not just for high schools by the way. They use it in college too, not to mention actual workplaces.

In high school, from first to last is:
9th - A Freshman.
10th - A Sophomore.
11th - A Junior.
12th - A Senior.
Middle schools and elementary schools usually don't have a specific name for a grade level.
And yes, colleges do use the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior titles as well.

Last year I didn't give a **** about who was a freshman or whatever, I never cared.
Mostly because I could never tell haha.
I remember in my freshman year I mad friends with all seniors, so nobody knew I was a freshman. People would be like "Woah, really?" lol. I didn't get any shit from anyone, cause nobody knew.

My highschool must be weird because we dont really distinguish freshmen, nor do we hate them. Some of them are such idiots, but we have those in every grade.

I am most likely equal to a Senior in college.
I remember high school, but now that I look at the kids in jr high and high school they all look so little, skinny and too young. Even kids I see who are on their first year in college look very young.
I hate it when kids start calling you old....
