HELP!!!!!!! jade empire
i got jade empire for steam and when i launch is, it starts going and then A Error that says, Jade Empire has Encounter a problem and needs to Close, that kind of error.
I went to the Configure and it said, "Jade Empire will not update propertly because your driver for your display adapter to old, you must update your driver to correct this problem"
How do i do that? Links would be great,thanks!

If you're using windows, control panel, display, look and see what your display adapter is, then download from the correct site.
At a guess, its either ATI or Nvidia with a possibility that its an intel display adapter because you're not sure what you have.
Alternatively go to a website called system requirements lab and do a test to see if your pc makes the requirements for jade empire, the stats will also tell you what graphics card you have and the driver version.

i tried downloading the Geforce 6 series Update, and it was done, and i rebooted my pc, and then came back and It still says i need to update, did i update it wrong?

Oh I got this problem when I was trying to play Fable way back.
This is gonna be hard to read but....
Your computer is not strong enough to run this game. Other words, your ram is getting owned by this game.
There is one way you can fix this.
Delete a lot of shit off your computer, since your ram is is running to slow your computer is struggling to get any where. Try spyware, virus checks, and then delete useless items off your computer.
EDIT: If this does not work, then it seems your computer is to weak to handle Jade Empire.

i got 8 gigs altogether, that enough or should i go buy a new Harddrive?

when you say 8gigs altogether...do you mean ALL the gigs on your computer or just the gigs u have free?

i can run Jade Empire:
1gig of ram
Geforce 6200
AMD Seprom
and 8 gigs of free space

clear some space anyway. its never good to go under 15 gigs of free space imo

Ill tell you this. Requirements are always shitty when giving info. Thats playing the game on low settings and shitty gameplay. When a game runs it starts off by being on the normal settings and then you later change it. But your computer is too slow to actually get to the main screen.
Can i suggest buying or *cough* downloading final fantasy 7 for PC. Its fun.
EDIT: BTW whats your total gigs in space? A computer should never be under half of its space. I hear your computer runs at half speed when your space is under half.
