Why hyaru whyyyyyy???? ill play along though.
As you know i got ffxi loved the linkshell you got me into and the ffxi community is just ...wow. Everyone is helpful everyone loves helping new players for once which is great to see in an mmorpg.
Example - i was in my first dunes party and from looking at my gears people could tell i was new lol so they helped me get my subjob items before they got theirs which i thought was extremly helpful. Also people in the linkshell helped me and didnt mind me asking whatever questions.
The reason i stopped playing though is because i wasnt looking for anything longterm and for ffxi to start as a new player you need to be ready for a long term devotion. FFXI is not one of those games you can pick up for a week and discard it because you thought it was too hard (which alot of people do).
Great game though and if anyone ever tries telling you the community is dying then thats all Bull**** my first time finding a party was hard cause i was minimum level for dunes so syncing to my level without a PL is hard but apart from that i was getting alot of invites. Word of advice dont go to places you know you can only just handle because with level sync it effects the whole party.
One kinda annoying thing for me that happened in only a few parties was the time it took to re-prepare for the next fight since at low level the whm werent all that and we had to wait for their MP to be full before taking the next mob which really does take a while. Makes exp gain slow too although the fights are fun![]()
