But seriously, this game looks epic. I was planning on getting it after school, but my XBox went on the fritz, and now I either need to send it in and claim it was a manufacturing error, or I need to send it in and pay for repairs. Either way, I don't get to play the game that WILL BE GAME OF THE YEAR for a while.

Also, does 3/4 of a red circle around the power button mean manufacturing error, cause that's what I heard, and if it's true, then I can get it repaired without my dad knowing (he doesn't want the XBox to get fixed...) so I can play much, much sooner. Please respond.

And I'm reserving judgment on this until it's been out for a little while and I get other opinions. I bought Fable 1 the day it came out on the original Xbox, and I don't want to have another huge disappointment in my collection.

How dare you say that Fable 1 was a dissapointment! I played it for 3 months straight, trying every possible action to find every possible reaction. Do you know how GROUNDBREAKING that type of thing was back when it was released? Fable 1 is godly. And Fable 2 has been in production for how long now?
Not only that, but they are adding so much depth into character relationships as well as development. There's like 6 DIFFERENT CLASSIFICATIONS of personality in this, as opposed to the basic good/evil (that only counts as one classification).
Not only that, but online Co-Op. Did you see the video about family relationship? If invited into someone's world, you can KILL THEIR FAMILY! Then, you can laugh about it! I mean, that sucks and all for the world owner, but it's comedic gold that they accidentally programed, and only discovered by hours of testing. Although, I want to start a bet on how many people are going to do this in whichever world their invited into and post them on youtube.
And they added guns over bows and such. That makes it much more impressive.

The only negative comment I have about this game is the lack of the compass. The dog switch adds a deeper complexity and a larger challenge, which may be nice. Still, I got used to the compass showing me where the stupid area's were....... But the dog can apparently "tell" you where the enemies are, or where buried treasure is (remember the stupid all-powerful frying pan from those treasure clues [it's better than the Sword of Aeons and/or Avo's Tear])

But this game is still revolutionary, and my choice for Game of the Year.

I can only hope that they make an even more modern Fable (like in our timeframe), and a Futuristic Fable. Even if people complain that Lionhead is milking Fable past its due, I will stand by them in their every attempt to improve upon the Fable games.

IGN gave it 9.5/10 (same as LBP) so yeah it looks pretty damn good. I would be playing it now but i live in the UK so its friday for me but i'll get it ASAP and then probably sign out of college for the day. Then i will enjoy the half term playing Fable 2 for a week and a half then look forward to GoW2.

I was waiting for some idiot out there to say something like that.
God forbid technology to occasionally break! I've had more iPods and DVD drives fall out over my 360. (Which, is at a lovely 0 times, and I've owned & played it for over 2 years.)

And sorry, but I really disliked Fable 1. The combat was fun, but it was too short. After completing the main storyline, even with that extra chapter or whatever on the PC version, there was very little compelling me to play it again. Don't get me wrong, the first run through was very enjoyable, as I really enjoyed the combat system. But to go back and play it again and again? No thanks. It's not like I rushed through the game either, I took time and found as many of those Demon Gates or whatever as I could, and tried to get all those godly weapons. It's just too short, which is a shame because it is fun to play.
