    IGN gave it 9.5/10 (same as LBP) so yeah it looks pretty damn good. I would be playing it now but i live in the UK so its friday for me but i'll get it ASAP and then probably sign out of college for the day. Then i will enjoy the half term playing Fable 2 for a week and a half then look forward to GoW2.

    LOL. ppl now refer it to gears of war 2 or w.e. They forgot how amazing GoW (god of war) reall was.

    you mean the fact that GoW was also super overhyped, and the only reason people actually played it was because the blood and violence, plus the chainsaw gave the illusion it was one of the best games ever?

    yeah i thought the same and i dunno im not a major halo/unreal fan but i prefer game modes like that more than it being all tatical. But meh each to their own.

    Anyone acually got fable yet then? i was gonna get the collectors edition but the gear they give (halo crap) i probs wouldnt use unless it was overpowered cause eww halo in fable? thats as bad as Yoda/Darthvader in Soulcaliber totally uneeded funny but uneeded. And the extra cave is probs gonna be on the xbox market soon enuff.

    So is it good? I loved fable 2 completed it quite a few times so hoping this will be as good. And i hope this time they bring out an expansion faster than they did before.

    Don't worry, MS is to greedy to not release the game for PC. Now the question is just WHEN it'll happen. I say spring/summer, next year.

    It probably will, like if an expansion comes out, they'll just package it as game + expansion, kinda like they did with the original Fable.

    I'll agree with the over hyped part, especially about it being best game ever. I will say, however, that the game is pretty fun, and GoW2 looks like it'll be pretty alright as well. Maybe I just enjoy third person shooters now and again, I dunno. Again, not GoTY or anything worthy, but I could see me fragging it up for a couple weeks, at least.

    However, Fallout 3 is a much higher priority in terms of games I'll buy this year. GoW2 will have to wait.

    Got this 3 days ago and it really is an awesome game I recommend it to you if you like this style of game cos I don't usually play games like these, skipped fable 1 but I thought might as well try it out and it was awesome. Would be playing it right now if I wasn't trying to finish GoW2 campaign :P

    and now I'm happy. Not only can I not play it on the Box, but (thank god for hax0rz) there is a PC .iso type version out! SO NOW I CAN PLAY!!!!!!! I LOVE LIFE, JESUS, GOD, OR WHOEVER IS UP THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    And also (here's fair warning) if anyone trashes this game, I am coming to your house and BITING YOUR TORSE.... as well as cutting your heart out, like you have done to mine....... also, for those who already have, I know your IP's (AND IF I DON'T, I WILL FIND THEM!)!     your wrong, sure it wasnt "groundbreaking" but it was one of the best games on the original xbox

    I'm a bit let down to be honest. The game wasn't what I expected, and it deviated from the fairy tale atmosphere of the original quite a bit. Sure, it's still a fantasy game, but it's much darker than it's predecessor.

    Oh well, Gamestop gets Far Cry 2 tomorrow.

    Why does a 8.5 rating from Gamespot, and a 8.8 rating from IGn not feel amazing anymore..

    Remember the good ol' days when 8+ was amazing.. now it seems medocore.

    LBP got a 9.5 from IGN - fking epic.
