    Default I need a digicam

Ya....I need a digicam and I don't know which one to buy. I never really bothered to buy one but recently I kind of felt like making some "neat" photos.
I thought maybe someone on this board would have experience with digicams.
I'd like to buy one of those really big ones(the ones paparazzi are always carrying with) but I don't have the money for those. I'd pay up to 100 € for the cam. So guys, does anyone know a good one for shooting "good" quality photos?

    Thanks in advance

Ask the people at Wal Mart or Target. Of course they're probably going to try and pull some marketing scheme on you, but if you can only buy a cheap camera, it's not like there will be a huge difference between everything you can afford.

    I L-O-V-E my camera...Fuji Film FinePix.

Its really good outdoors, really good indoors, and does EXCELLENT macro shots. A very very good beginner camera (it has an auto focus)...

Its learning to USE the camera that is most difficult for most people. I'll post up some shots from my camera in a sec.

Here, just links so I don't have to resize.

When you view it at 100% it gets a little pixely, but most people resize anyway. I'll go shoot some macros now.

    Edit: Macros-

Macros are what you use for close ups on fine details. Notice how the stuff CLOSE to the camera is clear, and the stuff farther away is blurry? Thats what macros are. Good for taking pictures of plants and flowers, etc.

I'm not sure what you are looking to do with the camera, but this one has done it ALL for me, and done it very well. Upon further inspection, I found the model number. Heres a NewEgg link (I had an Amazon one, but those people were idiots):

I paid about $120 for mine, brand new.

When doing macros, you have to put on the little flower and then do the ON not IN deal. Sometimes it will take a few auto-adjusts before it gets it, but when it does it looks DAMN GOOD.

I only post those instructions because my mom, girlfriend, friends, etc all have problems when using the camera, because they don't know how the autofocus works. I bet some of the people on the Amazon one are having the same problem >_<
oh.....well..k...thanks, lol . I'll keep that in mind. Maybe bookmark this post x). But I'm sure there's an instruction as to how that works, isn't there?

I actually suggest Nikon. I've bought a few really good quality cams from them that were very well priced. You should check out their website .
